The Christian motto 'All men are brothers', however, also means that those who do not accept brotherhood are not men.

About This Quote

“All men are brothers” is one of the most powerful words in the English language. The fact that all men are in some way related gives life meaning and gives us hope for a better world. The Christian belief is that every person has an inherent dignity, which means they all have something worth fighting for. However, the second part of this statement also means that people who are not willing to accept the dignity of others are not men.

For example, if someone believes that people with disabilities are less than fully human, they are not a man of their word. If another person believes that women should only be mothers or wives, they are not a man.
